Life lately- baby fever edition

Now that school is back in swing and I've adjusted to that- it's time to start getting ready for this sweet baby boy's arrival! Crazy when I snapped my 22 week photos and looked down. I shocked myself when I saw how far out my belly was sticking out! Not being able to see those feet isn't far away now! Reminds me that I need a pedicure. Gone are the days are giving myself one.

It's funny...pregnancy fashion has changed me a little. Before being pregnant I was not a fan of tight fitting clothing. Now, I love wearing bump hugging pieces. I think that trying so hard to get pregnant has intensified the fact that I'm so proud and thankful for this belly. Why not wear it proudly, right?

My kinders love to touch my belly, which cracks me up. They keep asking me if the baby boy is kicking or if he's ready to come out yet. The kids think it's so funny when I told them that he kicks like crazy each morning while they are doing their GoNoodle brain breaks (dances). He's dancing right along with them.

I had a check-up yesterday with my midwife. The nurse I have is always so sweet. She was checking the baby's heart rate with the fetal doppler and bless her heart. It took her about 5 minutes to even get an accurate reading because he was moving around so much! She was moving that wand over both sides of my belly to catch him! We were laughing so hard. She said we are in trouble. (Have you met his father?!?! He is rarely ever still! Ha!) I keep saying he can be as busy as he wants during the day but he better be a good sleeper. Wishful thinking.

Josh and I took advantage of Labor Day sales last weekend and purchased our crib and rocker. They arrive next week and I can't wait to put them together! It's getting so real! Now I'm on the hunt for a dresser that I can put my changing pad on top. I really want a vintage type piece, so I'm keeping my eyes peeled at thrift/consignment stores.

Here's some of my latest pins of dresser ideas and a light fixture that I'd love to have in the nursery.

Don't even get me started on sweet baby boy fashion. Now I know if I would have been having a girl it would have been even worse. But look at these sweet outfits! Here's my favorite "fancy" and casual outfits.

We are just very, very excited for our little man's arrival! Josh has been such a sweetie to me. We hit up food truck Friday last night (this momma was not feeling like cooking) and he got me a yummy cupcake. Then this morning he arrived at the house with donuts. He's trying to fatten up this baby. Ha! I'm a lucky lady!

Hope you all enjoy your weekend!
