Sorry, I just felt that title was very appropriate. Especially starting school this week. I thought I knew what teacher tired felt like at the beginning of the school year but preggo teacher tired is even harder! I'll get through it. My poor body just needs to adjust to being on my feet and go, go, go
all the time again.
I've been so excited to start this new year though. I have the best team mates! My sweet hubby helped me set up my classroom a few weeks ago. It's finally ready and I thought I'd share some pictures. I still love the color scheme of teal, red and lime that I've had the past 3 years. I'm hoping to have each family send in a family picture that I can turn into a gallery wall so my kiddos have a little part of home in our classroom each day.
That's how many years we've been teaching! Most of them in Kindergarten! It's going to be a great year!

In other pregnancy related news...Josh was able to feel the baby kick yesterday! I've been feeling him for a long time already (since around 16 weeks) so it was super exciting for Josh to finally feel it. This baby is quite the kicker and great at somersaults. I can feel my organs being kicked when he does all his acrobatics in there. It's the weirdest and neatest feeling at the same time. It blows my mind that this Saturday I will officially be 6 months pregnant! Time has flown by!
My feet have started the whole swelling thing a little already. My husband is sweet and sometimes will massage them. Not his favorite task but he's good at it! (I promise my feet are always clean when I ask him to do it!)
I was organizing my closet last weekend and I think I have a problem ya'll. This poor baby boy has no clothes. I feel so bad for him. Ha. This is what happens when you've been trying to get pregnant for 7 years. I had accumulated quite the stash over the years. (You should see the girl pile...it was double this! Next baby!) Of course, most is only size 6-12 months...so he's good for next summer. Guess he'll be naked next fall! LOL. I'm hoping this kiddo gets some cute casual wear- he can't wear smocked bubbles and rompers all day long! I'm so excited to have a sweet baby in my arms in just a few short months!
Hope your week is filled with good things! Here's to the upcoming LONG weekend! Yay!!
