Weekend Recap

Josh and I had a fun anniversary weekend! Friday night we went on a date to our new favorite restaurant, Tupelo Honey Cafe. We've eaten at the Asheville location- so this was our first time eating at the Charlotte restaurant. The food did not disappoint. If you're looking for good southern style food, check them out! We had homemade pimento cheese dip for an appetizer and boy was it delicious! It was pretty empty when we arrived, but we found out from our waitress that Food Truck Friday was happening 3 blocks over. I think we might be checking that out one Friday night soon!

 

Saturday night we went to the "Faith, Family, Freedom" concert at the dragway in Concord. It's an evening of worship with several Christian artists. Danielle joined Josh and I and we had so much fun. We saw Hawk Nelson, For King and Country, Britt Nicole and my favorite, Matthew West. Of course, Matthew performed at the end of the night which was when it began to rain. But that didn't deter us from enjoying his part of the night. It was a fun concert. This was the 2nd year we went and I'm sure it won't be the last.



And Sunday- we relaxed!
