Lazy Weekend

There's just something about lazy weekends...they are just so fabulous! This post will be boring to most I'm sure, but it's fun to document the mundane as well as the exciting!

I love peonies. They were one of the flowers in my wedding bouquet. My sister picked some up at Trader Joe's to decorate our church altar with. Bonus- I got to take home a big bunch of them after church! Fun tidbit- Peonies in German mean, "Pentecost flower" which was fitting because today was Pentecost! 

We hung out at Danielle's apartment, watched a lot of HGTV (anyone else addicted to that channel?) and then came home and went to our neighborhood pool. That's what I call relaxing!

 


      

Also- a very special boy turned 1 this weekend. Our nephew Aidan!! We love you so much little guy- wish we could see you more often! We pray God blesses your life and that you can be a blessing to others as well.
It's evident you liked your birthday cake made by Papa!
