Five for Friday

Hi Everyone! Thought I'd share some weekly favorites with you!

This kid has the best faces. I love early mornings with him. He's so happy and alert and really tries to interact with us. Cooing, mimicking our mouth movements and giving us sweet little smiles are some of our favorites right now! I'm having a lot of fun dressing him too. The gnome outfit slays me! Gap has the sweetest and softest baby clothes.

We've had lots of visitors this past week. My brother and sister in law, my grandparents and Josh's mom have all been loving on Henry. More company comes tomorrow. I'm glad to have so many people excited to meet our sweet boy. Melanie, Cuz and Ella Kate also came to visit this week. Shanti, Cyndi and sweet Finn came too but I forgot to snap a picture!

I'm super excited to be able to wear my regular clothes again! Breastfeeding is great for losing that baby weight! I've treated myself to some cute new tops from Loft. They have the most ADORABLE things right now in the store. Glad January is my birthday month and I have a rewards card to spend!

These are some of my latest finds! I love the longer length of these tops and sweet details like ruffles and lace.

Sums up my life right now. I know I will get sleep again someday. Running on 3 less hours a night is hard to get used to but it's becoming the new normal. I'm blessed to have a great husband who's very hands on and helpful. When he goes back to work I'm going to miss him immensely!

Handy tip for new parents : Wake up your baby by gently resting your head on a pillow.:

Staring at this sweet baby took up most of my time this week and is my favorite. I'm just trying to soak in every little part of him. His sweet little toes, fingers, little sighs and smiles. I don't want to forget any of it! So thankful that God blessed me and gave me the most precious gift I could ever ask for! This verse has sat on my dresser the past 7 years and it makes my heart so happy to read it and know that God heard and answered my prayer! He's an awesome God!

Hebrews 6:15 Having waited long and endured patiently, she obtained what God had promised.:
