This is a review of my 9th box from Stitch Fix. I was super excited to open it the minute I saw it on the porch! I decided to try Stitch Fix a while ago when I heard about it from a friend. I usually shop at the same stores over and over again and felt that maybe I could use a little push from a stylist. My boxes each time have been pretty reflective of my style, with some "out of my comfort zone" items thrown in. They have a neat app now for the iPhone. It's an easy way to fill out the style quiz and leave notes for your stylist and more. If you're interesting in trying out Stitch Fix- click my referral link below.
Here's my review!
I love the personal notes from my stylist each time. I loved Katherine! If you are thinking about trying Stitchfix, I highly recommend making a Style board on Pinterest and link it to your style profile in Stitchfix. I love that the stylists usually look at it and I can pin items that I'm currently loving in hopes of receiving something similar in my fix!
Item #1: Market & Spruce- Bernadette Lace Overlay
Raglan Top $58
I didn't take a picture of me in this top...it unfortunately was a big short due to my bust. It was so pretty and soft! I loved the style. I'd probably ask for the next size up. Absolutely loved the look and feel of this shirt. One of my friend's college aged daughter loved it, so she ended up buying it from my box!
So the verdict was....keep!
Item #2: Crescent Rita Embroidered Tunic $58
I loved the embroidery and color of this tunic. The cut wasn't the most flattering unfortunately. Baggy in the bust area doesn't help when your already well endowed. Style wise, it was a hit for sure! It's a very light and airy tunic and would look darling with skinny jeans.
Verdict...returned.
Item #3: Le Lis Bonneau 3/4 Sleeve Mixed Material Knit Top $54
(Excuse my weird facial expressions....I forgot to crop a few of these pics! ha!)
While very cute....this top didn't really wow me. Not enough to pay $58. It is a very comfy shirt and the style was nice. I wish the print material would have gone all the way down the back of the shirt instead of going back to the black material at the bottom.
Verdict.....returned.
Item #4: Papermoon Waters Printed Maxi Dress $68
I LOVED this dress. It was very soft and just the right length. It is sleeveless, but for school I'd wear it with a jean jacket or cardigan. I had requested a few maxi dresses and Katherine certainly delivered! The print is fun too! I'm still on the fence about keeping this dress because the other maxi that came in my box might be even more loved.....
Verdict....undecided.
Item #5: Gilli Shay Maxi Dress $78
This one was the WINNER of the box for me. The print is fun, the material is light and the top is a pretty wrap style. Very flattering. I loved how it looks by itself or with a sweater/cardigan. Plus, it has so many colors in the bottom half that I can mix and match it with all kinds of sweaters and jewelry! I can't wait to wear this in the next couple of months.
Verdict......KEEP!!
It's so much fun getting a Stitchfix box in the mail! If you've been on the fence about it, you have to try it! Especially if you hate shopping...it's awesome having someone do it for you! The neat thing is that once you try Stitchfix, you can share your experience with friends and earn referral credits towards your next fix!
