What We're Eating This Week....
Here's a few yummy recipes I pinned from Pinterest to try this week. I already made some yummy homemade spaghetti sauce with Italian sausage. I always make a double batch and freeze half for a night when I'm super busy and want an easy meal to throw together. Let me tell you, homemade meat sauce tastes so much better than the jarred kind!

What I'm Reminiscing About.....
Since I was just in Minnesota to visit family, I've been reminiscing a lot about my nieces and nephews and how quickly they grow!!! It blows my mind. The exact same weekend last year I visited Kara, Ives and Ella. Ella has grown so much in just a year. She is quick to tell you, "I two-uh-half" and really has a fun personality. I enjoyed taking her to the Como Zoo again and just playing around the house and yard with her. Minnesota summers are absolutely beautiful. This Carolina girl was loving the 70-80 degree weather. I had fun with my nice camera taking some cute shots of her. Her expressions are priceless.

What I'm Loving.....
I'm a big fan of Whole Foods grocery store. If you have one near you, check it out! Their chicken salad is amazing. When you buy a chicken salad sandwich at the deli, they put it on a pretzel croissant! Mind blown deliciousness. They also sell this amazing lemonade in glass jars. I cannot for the life of me remember the brand...I will look later.
What We've Been Up To...
Josh and I have had a busy few weeks. With our lovely IVF procedures, youth trips and travels we are looking forward to this weekend where we have NOTHING planned. Never has nothing sounded so good!
What I'm Dreading....
My workdays start next week. I LOVE school but I do dread waking up early. Ugh. I'm a morning person, just not a 6:30 a.m wake up morning person. I sleep to the latest moment possible. Thank goodness I'm pretty low maintenance in the primping department. I do my hair, swipe some eye makeup and lip gloss on and go. So this week's goal is to start heading to bed at a decent hour and getting up earlier so my system will be less shocked!
What I'm Working On....
I'm working on sewing some cute thanksgiving onesies for the new babies in my family.
I'm also working on organizing closets and my pantry. Doesn't sound very fun but it's necessary. If only I had more closet/storage space. It stinks when a whole closet is full of tubs filled with Christmas decor. That stuff belongs in an attic or storage room- which I do not have. Oh well.
What I'm Excited About....
STARTING SCHOOL!!! I cannot wait to meet my new munchkins and be around people all day again! I'm such a social butterfly that this quiet summer has killed me! Ha! I miss my colleagues and the wonderful staff at our school. It makes coming to work fun each day!!
What I'm Watching/Reading...
Here's the list of what I've been watching lately. Let's just say Netflix has been my source of entertainment this summer.
Gilmore Girls
Orange is the New Black
Everybody Loves Raymond
Call the Midwife (I've seen all episodes but love them enough to watch again.)
Parenthood (I need tissues for every.single.episode.)

What I'm Listening To....
My favorite stations on Pandora. Classical Christmas (yes...I know it's August...), All Sons and Daughters, Praise Baby and Instrumental Praise. If you don't have Pandora, you should check it out. It's free radio and you can type in any artist and it will play their music and other artists that are similar. I find a lot of new music I like that way.
What I'm Wearing...
I visited JCREW Outlet the other day and picked up this cute red and white striped dress. It was a steal and so cute on. I will be able to wear it all fall and how cute would it look with boots?!?
I also love these Loft linen shorts. Above is one of my favorite bloggers Scheaffer wearing the shorts. I totally copy her and wear a chambray shirt with mine too!
What I'm Looking Forward to Next Month....
The final stage of our IVF process! Sometime in the beginning of September we will have our FET (Frozen Egg Transfer). This is where they will put one of our frozen embryos back inside of me. So exciting! I will need to take some extra estrogen and probably progesterone too but I'm done with all the yucky shots. Praise the Lord! Keep praying for us please....
That's all for tonight, folks!
