I ordered my first pair of Tevas sandals. Oh my goodness...they are super comfy! I'm always looking for shoes that are comfortable but at least a little cute. My darn flat feet make walking in flats all day torture to my feet. These fit the bill! I think I'm going to get another pair in another fun color. I can totally wear them to school- so yippee!!

Have I mentioned how awesome this guy is?!?! He has given me three shots a day without once flinching or getting nervous. I would totally post a picture of my poor bruised stomach but I'm pretty sure it would gross out a few people so I'll spare you! I had an appointment today and hooray- I'm responding faster to the drugs then they expected so it looks like my egg retrieval for IVF will be Monday. Praise to the Lord for he is good! We ask for your continued prayers as we go on with the next step in this process!

I'm feeling good! My classroom is pretty much set up at this point. I'm actually lesson planning! I know, some people are thinking I'm crazy but sitting at home watching tv or going to the pool everyday by MYSELF is very boring. Might as well be productive. I keep telling myself this will help lessen my stress level in August. I walked into Target and Walmart and saw all the school supplies and got excited. I miss the kids! (Can you tell I'm a social person? Summer can be fun but also killer boring for me!)

This picture makes me giggle. There's actually plenty of people that I can stand longer than an hour. Ha! I was lucky to have lunch with one of my good friends that lasted 3 hours! Now that's friendship! Pretty sure the restaurant wanted us to leave a few times! Just kidding. Mandy even brought sweet baby Riggins with her and he was an angel baby. Lucky girl, looks like he's going to follow in Davis' footsteps and be a great eating out baby! I'm so thankful God placed such wonderful friendships in my life. I'm grateful every day!

I totally missed Show and Tell Tuesday this week but it was to give a tour of your home. I did happen to take some pictures a couple weeks back when it was pretty clean! Ha! So, here's some pictures. I know it was my favorite link-up. If I ever had to choose a different career path I think I would be a realtor. Looking at houses is one of my favorite things!
My living room and breakfast nook area.
My dining room.
Upstairs we have a loft area. This is probably the space we hang out in the most. If you notice...all of my walls upstairs are white. They will soon be painted a beautiful blue/gray called Sea Salt by Sherwin Williams.
Guest room #1 (future nursery someday- hence lack of decor) and laundry room
Guest bedroom #2
Master Bedroom and my lovely gallery wall that the hubby made me for Christmas!
Hope you all had a great week!
I LOVE the gallery wall! It's perfect! I have a huge empty wall in our front room that I want to fill with a gallery wall and I've been gathering Pinterest pictures so I get it right once I do it.. Yours has been added to the examples in my head ;)
ReplyDeleteAnd your classroom looks great!
