Ah, New Years. You creep up on me every year. I always have grand plans of doing something fabulous and fun on New Year's Eve but it never happens. It's just as much fun sitting at home in your pajamas, drinking champagne while you watch the ball drop on the tv, right? A week of vacation and late nights will wear you out, so we got some pretty good sleep.
The past two years we have celebrated New Year's as a family by going out to breakfast. This year was no different. The Bennett's had a flight out early afternoon, so we headed to Cracker Barrel over near the airport. Nothing is as delicious as a Cracker Barrel biscuit...can I get an "amen"? And just for the record, those rocking chairs out on their porch are on my long list of wants. Two in traditional wood please!
Josh and I came up with some of our goals for 2015. Some of them seem lofty and grand and some seem silly and simple- but they are meant to keep us on track and motivated. We pray that this year is full of blessings. I pray that we seek more of God's wisdom in all areas of our life and that we can share our joy and faith with others. We have so much to be thankful for and are so unworthy of all God has blessed us with already. I'm thankful each day for his great grace!
Here's to a wonderful 2015!! Do you have any special goals or prayers for this year? Leave a comment and we can remember and support each other!
