ABC's and 123's

The new school year is finally here! After prepping for a couple of hours each week during the summer, there still never seems to be enough hours in the day to prepare! I'm so blessed to work with a great staff, especially my Kindergarten team! They are a group of truly awesome ladies who have such a heart for kids and teaching. They inspire me to be a better teacher everyday! We've welcomed a new principal this year as well, it's an exciting change! I prayed in my classroom this morning that I can be a blessing to my new students and that if possible- they can see Christ's light shine through me. I love that line from the movie Freedom Writers, "You've been blessed with a burden....I envy you that.". I don't take burden as a negative thing but rather a challenge. I've been blessed with 17 little innocent children- and it's my task to teach them and let them know they are loved! I would love it if you'd include my sweet class and I in your prayers tonight! My bible verse for this year is the same as last. I just love it that much!
