Retirements and other end of school year musings....

This week our school celebrated the retirement of our principal. Mr. Shouse was the only principal that I have worked for and he will be missed. I will always be thankful that he offered me the job and opportunity to teach at such a great school. The staff put on a fantastic tribute show and had some fun taking photo booth type shots! Enjoy!


These three ladies were hilarious! They wrote the funniest parody of the "I like big butts" song but changed the words to "Baby's got growth!" in honor of our principals love of all things data!

The cleaning and putting up of the classrooms is always exciting and sad at the same time. Seeing all the tables and chairs lining the hallways always bring on an end of year nostalgic feeling. Its the end of a year and the beginning of looking forward to a new one! I've been so blessed with a great team this year. I can't wait to start the 2014-15 school year....as soon as I've enjoyed my summer!
