I'm an awful blogger- life lately...

I know everyone must think I've abandoned blogging...I promise I haven't! I totally understand how people say once they get behind in blogging-it becomes overwhelming to catch up! So be patient with this looonnnggg post!

Mom, Danielle and I took a lovely Saturday drive 3 weeks ago on the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway. We drove it from Asheville to Blowing Rock (about 4 hrs).  The leaves weren't quite at peak color yet, but beautiful none the less. 

Josh and I as well as the boys (which we affectionately call Frankie, KC, Lenny and Sachim) went out to cheer on Sarah and Mikhayla's marching band as they performed at a football game. Nothing like experiencing a high school football game to take you down memory lane! Not much has changed except for fashion- and MANY more cell phones! :o)

I cannot believe that my sweet Sarah is a senior!! Time is just flying by. She did an awesome job as drum major!

Been crafting a little bit lately...sewed some new designs and started my Christmas decorating. Early for some I know..but I'm always game for holiday decor once November hits!

The picture below is hilarious to me. One of my students that I had the past two years created this lesson plan!  Here mom sent it to me on Facebook. She plays teacher all the time at home- she plays with dolls, neighbors..anyone! Can we say future teacher in the making? I hope I'm invited to her college graduation someday- sweet girl!!!

Can we say it was about time for a haircut??!?! It felt so good to cut off a few inches! Love the new shorter do!

We completed a successful Royal Run and had fun carving and learning all about pumpkins! I love teaching during this time of year- gearing up for some really fun Christmas units!

We had a great youth weekend last week. Josh held a great youth service all about worship. Following service and some yummy fellowship, we headed over to a bowling alley and had some good boys vs. girls competition. Boys won by 10 pts..boo!

And to wrap up this LONG post...this is my view as I type. Three silly boys watching football with 3D glasses...ha! I promise to be more timely in posting!
